With school holidays fast approaching we, Skyline Rotorua, are on the look-out for customer focused super stars to join our team over the busy summer holiday period to continue bringing the fun and smiles to the faces of our guests.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our award-winning kitchen team.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible and accountable for the following:

  • Planning, organising and supervising daily food preparation within the Kitchen in consultation with the Executive and Sous Chef.
  • Effective management of all kitchen departments within budgeted objectives
  • Developing a profitable return for all food production operations.
  • Assisting in implementing effective food management processes to achieve budgeted cost of sales.
  • Assisting with staff training and development within the Kitchen.

We require someone who copes well under pressure, is reliable, enthusiastic and most of all, can interact well with guests. We are looking for someone who has a passion for food and a desire to present and produce high quality dishes.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 4 years previous experience in a similar role, with proven supervisory experience. They will have experience in large production style kitchens, have good communication and leadership skills, and maintain a high level of food safety and hygiene.

Flexibility is a must as the successful candidate will be required to work rostered shifts, weekends and school/public holidays, which are normally our busiest days.
