About the role
As Cleaning Manager at Skyline Queenstown, you will take full ownership of the cleaning function across our complex, ensuring our public areas consistently reflect the high standards our guests expect. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the strategic and operational performance of the cleaning team. You will lead the department end-to-end, from workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding, through to budgeting, rostering, performance management and day-to-day operational delivery. While you’ll set direction and standards, you’ll also be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and providing practical support on the floor when required.
You’ll be accountable for building a high-performing, safety-focused team that lives Skyline’s values, complies with all Health and Safety requirements, and delivers an exceptional guest experience at all times. This role suits an experienced leader who can balance people leadership, financial accountability and operational excellence, whilst confidently prioritising guest needs in a fast-paced environment. As we operate seven days a week, there may be occasional requirements to work evening or weekend shifts to support operational needs.
