What we’re after 

As Chief Engineer you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Gondola and Luge lifts.

Responsible for the engineering team, you’ll be a hands-on approachable leader, a superior communicator, have a high level of initiative and be able to work under pressure.

Key responsibilities include

  • Providing expert engineering/aerial ropeways advice,
  • Leading the engineering teams,
  • Planning, implementing and administering an effective preventive maintenance programme, 
  • Ensuring all cableway operations are maintained and running within manufacturer specifications, relevant legislation and codes of practice,
  • Managing and executing aerial ropeways and equipment breakdowns,
  • Managing engineering budgets, cost control and capex planning,
  • Health and safety management 

You’ll have / be… 

  • 7-10 years’ aerial ropeways experience, 
  • A Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance & Diagnostics Level 4 qualification or equivalent,
  • Demonstrated effective leadership
  • A solid knowledge of aerial cableways and codes of practice
  • A demonstrated commitment to health and safety 
  • A clean and current driver’s license.

Skills & Experience

 

  • 7-10 years’ aerial ropeways experience,
